Hiba Vergnaud, a contemporary artist based in Bordeaux – France. She specializes in original hard edge and geometric abstraction paintings.
Her work is deeply influenced by her diverse heritage, which blends French, Mauritian, and Lebanese roots.
She grew up in Kuwait where she was constantly drawing and illustrating in a busy, creative household.
However, paint was never a medium of interest. She started her career as a multi-disciplinary artist thanks to the Kuwait Society of Formative Arts.
In 2020, as a mother of 2, Hiba began doing commission pieces for friends and familly while documenting her process on instagram.

Known for her bold, vibrant use of color, Hiba experiments with a range of hues and textures to create dynamic visual expressions.
Working primarily from her home studio, she uses traditional materials such as acrylic paint and ink to explore the complexities of the modern world, iconic places, and people.
Although her work oscillates between different styles, Hiba’s primary focus lies on Hard Edge and Geometric Abstraction.
